MEET RAY BOYD
My name is Ray Boyd and I am the face of Ray Boyd Creative. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always enjoyed telling stories. A pivotal part of my story is that I was born with a cleft lip and palate. Living life with a cleft has helped me realize that people are created to be unique and have differences.
Even more, I’ve realized that by sharing unique life experiences we can positively change other people’s lives by showing them happiness and hope. I love how video and photos can be used to share people’s stories and ultimately change the world. That’s why, Ray Boyd Creative’s ultimate mission is to share the stories of others through creative mediums such as video and photo. So, what’s your story and how can I help you share it?
My Experience
One summer as a kid, I picked up a VHS camcorder and made my first video titled “TV with Ray” at my grandparent’s house. Since then, I have been growing in my skills as a creative, both in videography and photography. For over 10 years, I have partnered with churches, organizations, and individuals to create videos and photos to share stories. While in college at The University of Alabama, I minored in Creative Media and served in a local church where I produced promotional material, livestream productions, and story content. I produced my first wedding film before the world shut down in 2020. I love capturing timeless authentic moments for couples to reflect on and relive their special day.
In 2023, I expanded my expertise in the wedding industry by working with other companies as a videographer in the wedding and events space. Ultimately, through any project, whether it be a wedding film, a promotional video, or a photo of a graduate, I aim to share each of my client’s unique stories and experiences through creative mediums.
